FAQs

Do other guys really deal with this stuff?

Yes—way more than you think. Issues like erectile dysfunction, pelvic pain, urinary problems, and post-surgical tightness are common, just rarely talked about. You're not broken, you're not alone, and you don’t have to just "live with it."

What exactly is Men’s Health Physical THerapy?

Men’s Health PT focuses on muscles, nerves, and joints in and around your hips, pelvic floor, and core. That often means improving things like bladder control, sexual function, pain, and performance through targeted movement, manual therapy, and education.

Is it awkward? Be Honest.

Not even a little bit! No awkward stretching in group rooms. No invasive procedures without your full consent. Just a calm, professional space where we address the problem directly, clearly, and with zero judgment.

What kinds of conditions do you treat?

A few common ones include:

  • Erectile dysfunction

  • Post-prostatectomy recovery

  • Hard flaccid syndrome

  • Perineal or testicular pain

  • Pelvic floor dysfunction

  • Premature Ejaculation

  • Pain with sitting, core exercises, or sex

Even if your issue isn't on that list, reach out— Men’s Health PT covers more ground than most guys realize.

Do I need a referral?

Nope. Minnesota allows direct access, so you can start treatment without seeing a doctor first. That said, we’re always happy to collaborate with your physician or urologist if needed.

What happens during my first visit?

We’ll start by talking through your symptoms, goals, and history. Then we’ll do a physical assessment—no surprises, and everything is explained before it happens. We’ll complete our very first treatment based on your comfort level. And you’ll leave with a plan and clear next steps.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on your goals and how long you've had symptoms. Some guys see improvement in just a few sessions; others benefit from a longer rehab plan. Either way, you’ll get honest feedback and measurable progress.

Do you take insurance?

I actually operate as a cash-based provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, many patients are able to receive partial reimbursement by submitting a superbill to their insurance for out-of-network benefits! I’ll provide all the documentation you need and can help guide you through the process!
